Kosher Food in Cambridge

Kosher food is easily accessible in Cambridge:

Derby Stores (by the Newnham Co-op) has a small stock of Kosher bread, cheeses, pot noodles and other condiments. They will also take orders for deliveries from London.

Sainsbury's

According to Sainsbury's website there is a kosher section in the following store:

The 'big' Sainsburys (on Coldhams Lane) also has Kosher sections, and stocks chicken, sliced meats, dips and various bits and bobs.

Hot meals are provided all week by The Jerusalem Cafe, which is run by the students and operates from The Student Centre/Traditional Synagogue. There is a large Friday night meal every friday of full term which is organised by CUJS.

Many religious students also eat at the strictly vegeterian "Rainbow Cafe" on Kings Parade (opposite Kings College).

Many colleges will provide pre-packaged kosher meals for college dinners, although prices will vary.
